Balloons

This weekend was the annual balloon festival, so we headed down to the park last night to watch the balloon glow.  We got there a little early, so while we waited we enjoyed just laying in the grass, chatting, laughing, and playing with the camera.

Morgs wanted to see what Daddy would look like with a bow.

This is the only picture that we got of the balloon glow because my camera battery died.

This morning we got up bright and early to watch the balloon launch.  We set the alarm for 5:30 but slept through it.  Luckily Ben's new phone started talking this morning at 6.  It has some sort of advertisement loaded onto it and it went off.  We went flying out of bed and got everyone ready and out the door in 20 minutes.  I was impressed.

Notice Bailee's unbrushed hair.  Haha!  I kinda forgot about that in the rush to get out the door.

This is a very common look to see on Morgan's face.

This was the girls' favorite balloon.

We counted a total of 30 balloons.  They were so pretty, and I love that we get to see this every year.  As we were driving home, we got to see them coming down all over the city.  Definitely a great way to start a holiday weekend!
