We were finally able to get a trip planned for the girls to meet Maggie. They were sooooo excited. It was really hard for them to not be able to go when she was born, and they had been telling me for weeks that they wanted to go see her. Well, they pretty much fell in love with her right away.
The girls wanted to hold her all the time. Maggie wasn't always sure that she liked them holding her. Probably because they weren't able to hold her upright the way that she prefers.
They loved pretty much everything about her. They were not, however, impressed with spit-up. Every time she would spit-up, we'd hear, "Ewwwww! She threw up!" They both thought that was absolutely disgusting and just didn't understand why we didn't think it was gross.
Ben also enjoyed some cuddle time with his newest niece.
And I got to stay a few more days after the girls went home with Ben to get to know Maggie a little better.
Hopefully these three will have some fun times together!
