Bailee is in 4th grade this year, so that means she will be learning all about Idaho. Mom suggested a trip to see some of the interesting and historical sites in this state. We loaded up the car and took off for a week in July.
We learned about the fossil beds in Hagerman and saw areas where the Oregon Trail is still visible.
We visited the City of Rocks.
| You can see the girls if you look really closely. |
According to the GPS, we drove on roads.
We stopped to see an ice cave.
We built fires, made smores, and learned how to potty in the woods.
We saw a man-made geyser.
We went out of Idaho and then back into it.
We made silly faces.
We saw beautiful scenery and took pictures in front of the Tetons.
We climbed sand dunes in St Anthony.
We walked around the area where Sacajawea grew up.
We saw Mt Borah.
We visited Craters of the Moon.
We climbed in caves and played on big rocks.
