Morgan turned nine a little over two weeks ago. We had a fairly lazy day. It was our last week home before school started, but the public schools here had started the day before. Usually we spend her birthday at the waterpark, but they close when school starts so that was out. So instead, we did something that they've been begging me to do for a couple months now.
Yep. We dyed their hair with koolaid.

Now before anyone freaks out, let me point out that we only did the bottoms of their hair. So it can be easily cut out if needed. No strange looking hair for months and months while it grows out. It is already starting to fade, but they love it. Bailee told me after it was done, that she feels so cool now.
Morgan had soccer practice that night, and she was pretty excited about this because then it would mean that all her soccer friends would know it was her birthday. After soccer, my parents came over, and we celebrated with cake and ice cream.
She had already received a bulk of her birthday presents in the form of her new Isabelle doll, but my mom had made her a pair of pajamas just like Isabelle's. They are really cute!
Happy birthday to my silly girl who makes us laugh daily with the silly things she says. She's my shadow and loves to spend her time following me around the house and telling me everything that pops into her head. She's most definitely a mommy's girl and while at times I find it a bit tiring, I hope that her desire to share her life with me continues into her teenage years and adulthood. I sure do love this girlie!
