Morgan is in love with Tink.
She pretty much has been since we got her, but it seems even more intense lately. When she wakes up in the morning, the first thing that she does is find Tink, pick her up, and bring her to my bed. Then she puts Tink's body under the blankets and cuddles her. Tink actually puts up with this for about five minutes and then starts trying to get away. We have to continually remind Morgan that if Tink wants down, she needs to be put down. When we get home from anywhere, Morgan runs into the house (usually she is the first one in) and runs straight to Tink. I'll find her cuddling her and saying things like, "Awww...Tinky. Did you miss me?" She will be upstairs watching a movie, and she'll come down halfway through to find Tink and take her back upstairs to cuddle with her.
Tink isn't quite as in love with Morgan. She tollerates a lot, that's for sure, but she eventually reaches her breaking point. Morgan's face and hands are evidence of that. But we've told Morgan that if Tink wants to go, and Morgan doesn't let her go, then we don't want to hear her cry about the scratches that she gets. And she very rarely does cry about it although they sure look like they hurt. It doesn't stop her. Within minutes, she is at it again...wrapping her up in a blanket and cuddling with her on the couch. Tink acts like she hates it, but sometimes I wonder. On the mornings when Morgan doesn't get up as early as usual, Tink walks around the house meowing. Which makes me wonder if she is she looking for Morgan.
