The girls and I got to make a trip to see Trudy and Maggie a few weeks ago. Amanda flew in from California too, so all the sisters and their kids were together. We took a few toys with us that the girls have outgrown, and it was fun to give them to Maggie. I think she liked having some new things to play with even though she has no idea who Dora is.
We made a trip to the zoo the first day we were there. It was Maggie's first zoo trip, and it was zoo that the girls hadn't been to before.
It had some fun stuff that our zoo doesn't have like a little aquarium where the girls got to pet some sting rays and some other fish.
It also had some animals that our zoo doesn't have like polar bears, elephants, and walruses. The walrus was so cool to watch. Those things are huge!!
Maggie took it all in and looked cool while doing it.
The girls were quite excited about this carousel. Our zoo has a teensy one that they always ask to ride on even though they are way too big for it. This one was a much better size for them.

The next day we got to go to the Pacific Science Center which was also very neat. The girls loved playing with all the exhibits.
Amanda decided to show us what she would look like if she were to run into a dinosaur.
On our last day, we surprised Morgan with a trip to the American Girl Doll store. She had absolutely no idea that there was a store there, so when she saw it as we were walking in the mall, she started bouncing up and down asking to go there. As soon as we walked in the door, she stopped, turned to me and gave me a huge hug and said, "I just really love you, Mommy." :) One of this girl's top love languages is gifts.
On our way back to Trudy's, we were able to meet up with John and Barb for dinner at a place in Renton by the water. It was so pretty there, and it was fun to catch up with them.
The time in between all this fun was spent playing with Maggie. She is at such a fun age right now and quite the little character. She loved my phone and especially loved taking pictures with the camera when we could see ourselves on the screen.
On our last night there, I took Maggie up with me to put the girls to bed. She decided that she wanted to sleep with the big girls.
These pictures are blurry, but they make me happy. I love seeing the girls enjoy each other. I wish that they could do so more often, but it makes the time that they do get even more sweet.
We loved our time there and can't wait to go back. Maybe we'll even take Daddy next time.
